The Sun is Shining…But it is a Dark Day – casey60622 on the Tragic Virginia Tech Shootings
It is one of those days where I can’t hit the relode button on CNN.com fast enough.
My heart goes out to all those who lost someone today and I mourn for those who died.
These types tragedies speak of deeply hidden problems in the world. If we are ever going to change that, we must remember to look at root causes and not just surface issues like security.
Another horrible day in American history.

So, basically my whole conception of the world and everything in it boils down to understanding it in post-colonial terms. It is the explaination and the truth of what must happen to address many of the the worlds greatest ills.

Hey there!
It seems like an appropriate time for me to branch out into the blogosphere as it were.
I am going to use this as a place to talk about truth, freedom and the casey60622-brand of social libertarianism that prizes individual freedom and compassion for all humankind.
I will be writing about racism, infringements on our civil liberties, the grossly unfair education system, the latent sexism in the world today, US Imperialism and what it means to live in a post-colonial world. I will talk about things that bother me, like people trying to stop gay couples from adopting. I will talk about things I like, like fair trade.
